Wheel spacers

I know this has been covered a million times but theres that many threads It's sending me mad trying to find the exact answer.

Basically, I have standard 343M 20s with 305 rear and 275 front tyres, 10mm wider than stock. My intention is to lower the car with either eibach or h&r springs. Would 10mm spacers all round be ok with no rubbing? I currently have 5mm on the rear but I feel I have more to play with.

Does anybody have 305 and 275s with 10mm spacers and lowered suspension?

Thanks

I have 295 with 10mm spacers & lowered and its just flush. Anymore and I think it would rub.

Are you lowered aswell? Once I'm lowered, if it doesn't look right I might just buy 2 10mm spacers and try them out on both axles rather than buying a set.

im not lowered. but it travels enough to hit the fender if it could. spacers are cheap and easy so just play around with it. thats what i did

I'm lowered on KW V4 (clubsports) with 15mm spacers all around and 265/295 tire setup. I don't have any rubbing issues. Even with the suspension fully compressed in the front and rear, I still don't rub at all. I am really low, a pinky finger gap at most... front and rear.

I added a pic of the rear suspension fully compressed and there is still room back there and no rubbing whatsoever

My car it turnes out has been fitted with M6 wheels, being 10,5" with a offset of 19mm, that is equal to a 21mm spacer on a stock rim, 10mm spacer should be fine.
With 295 I have not see much rubbing, but looking at the wheel arc, it has touched, and with 305 it will most certainly rub.

I just put 295 winter tires on those wheels, these were considerably wider than the summer tires and now I'm afraid to drive the car because the tires poke outside the fenders.

Need new rims by the looks of it.

Certainly do.They look too knobbly sticking out like that and may whack the arch on a big bump. I'd look for the kosher set and get rid of those you have on there.

Got across a set of OEM 6-spoke competition pack wheels, probably pulling the trigger on those.

They don't look too good sticking out like that, but for some reason the supersport summer tires looked ok.
I'm so far good in Sport+ on the suspension against rubbing or whacking the arc, but I can't drive around like that all winter.
Might keep them for summer tires, or get a set of 21".
