on my 13, yup! It comes and goes and not consistent to weather, temp, etc. I think it's the sway bar bushing. Dealer cannot isolate and duplicate the issues. I ask the dealer to lubricate it and they said it cannot be done, unless the whole thing is replaced under warranty. But since it can come and go without normal frequency, nothing was done at all to address my issue.

I was thinking about bringing it to the dealer also but had a feeling that they were gonna pull out their normal "can't duplicate" bs on me so i didnt bother... anyone had this problem fixed?

I have something similar on my '13 but I think it is related to the brakes. It can be heard only with open windows and it goes away if the brakes are applied even slightly.

Normally when driving over "covers of water drain / canalisation" (no idea about the proper english term). Noise is pretty annoying in a +100k car. Will ask to check in break in service. |

I think Bish is right it's probably rotor related.
I had no squeak prior to my HPDE and roasted the brakes. After replacing everything, I now have the squeak.

If you can hear a noise at the back when going over bumps your springs might need to be replaced. It is a common issue for the M5.
You can put some stuff in the trunk and some friends on the rear seat and if the noise goes away these should be faulty springs. |

I have the same issue, it's been ongoing since about Feb 2013. At that time very intermittent. Over the past few months its pretty much non-stop. Took it in today and they had no problem hearing it. Said it was the sway bar bushings in the front although I hear it front and rear. They said they lubricated them and that this would solve the problem. It does give me some concern though since I hear others saying that there was no fix...
