Project Passenger side head light for sale

So ive just had a bit of a shock at the price of replacing my passenger side headlight but its done now

My old headlight had a hairline crack that was hardly noticeable that appeared to be the source of water getting in. I know these can be fixed but I dont have the time or the skill to do so

I therefore wanted to see if there was any interest for anyone to take these on as a project. If so, Im happy to consider any offers and happy to send pics for anyone that is genuinely interested

Maybe post a couple of pics so people could assess what type of repair is required to the unit :
Good luck with the sale

A few more details also ..I think it was a xenon unit and has it adaptive- can swing around corners when turning.

Yes its the adaptive version...It has a little hairline crack running from the bottom of the light to mid way up...Id say its needs a new lens.

Yup same as mine, mine is fine.. if anyone can rectify then it'll be a good repair.
Looking at it the impact being at the bottom edge join so even a custom protective plastic sheet layer may not have saved it.

ive basically had this crack for a few years now....For whatever reason, it was only at the start of this year that the unit started letting in a significant amount of moisture..Admittedly they would dry out in the sun over a couple of days but now that we in winter, they remained pretty bad .

In the end, I just bit the bullet and bought a new unit because I didn't want to have the added cost of damaged control units as well

Out of interest does anyone know if this would have been covered by warranty?

in this instance no, because there is a clear crack...Even if there wasn't a crack and there was a seal failure, water ingress is not covered. At best you could argue for a gesture of good will but ultimately not covered by warranty
