Fitting 5x112 Wheels onto F10

Got a set of 20" 789m wheels with the 5x112 bolt pattern and I really want them on my f10. I already tried adapters and they added too much width (was equivalent to 30mm spacers).

Anyone with experience doing something like this?

The only thing you could do is shave the mounting pad or find thinner (25mm) spacers

You can have your hubs re drilled for the different bolt pattern along with your rotors and every set of new rotors you may ever need. The hub bore is different too so you would have to have the hub machined down or the wheels center bore machined larger. So if you brought it to a shop that could do the mechanical side and has machine shop capabilities it would cost you 4-10k roughly.

I've found some 20mm thick adapters I may use as a last resort.

Redoing the hubs is probably not worth the amount of effort. Redrilling the wheels to accept a larger bolt should be easier, right?

Shaving the mounting pad is an interesting idea...

Yes, re-drilling the wheel bolt pattern and enlarging the hub bore would be the best way to go.

The OEM F90 offsets are perfect for the F10 also. It's really unfortunate BMW chose to change the bolt pattern for the F90.

Keep us updated! Let us know how it goes. I'd like to do this as well in the future.

Wheels are shipped to Billy at Versus Autosports. Hopefully I'll have them on the car in a couple weeks.

Very nice!

Any vibrations or other issues so far?

And no spacers on that set up?

Spacers had to come off and I had to fit smaller 305 30 20 on the rear and 275 35 20 on the front. Haven't driven it much yet but seems good.
