Hey Hey!

I replied to your email a few days ago.

Your calibration code is in the database file, so there may be some step that is being missed or, the database file needs to be re-uploaded to the OFT.

Please re-update the database file back to your OFT -- again. Lets make sure that the file loaded correctly by doing it again.

Delete/remove all previous tune files from your OFT from the UPLOAD tab in Openflash Manager. Select the red X next to any/all existing files. Then select START at the bottom.

At the car -- go to TUNING. You should be greeted by a messages that says the tune files are being generated.

If all else fails -- we'll just uninstall the OFT from the car by writing the ORIGINAL tune back to the ECU; Use Openflash Manager to ERASE the OFT, and start over.

I emailed you earlier today. I suspect you aren't loading the files correctly.

Do I have to fill up all the boxes again even as an existing customer or do you keep your files saved. Thanks

Has anyone experienced any bogging or sputtering in 3rd gear above 5k rpm? I’ve been having this issue for some time even after replacing HPFP, coil packs and spark plugs. Currently I’m running full catless downpipes, rpi full Exhaust, Msr front mounts. Current map flashed is V2 93 oct.

I haven't noticed anything like that. If anything I feel a surge around 5k rpms in 3rd.

I was getting a cel on car would go into limp mode on V2 so I switched back to V1.2.

I never ran the codes to why the car was going into limp mode so I still need to do that and perhaps try again.

when i originally flashed to V2 i would also go into limp mode and car was bogging bad. as soon as the car went into limp mode and when coming to a stop it would all of the sudden just shut off. i had to restart it couple times before the car is able to idle on it's own. i was able to pull a code from the tablet and it was a HPFP code. read some thread about 2013 pre lci M5 having a lower HPFP than 2014+ LCI M5 so i went ahead and replaced the HPFP. Got my car back from the shop with new HPFP and bogging and sputtering is still present, but this time around when i went into limp mode it didn't stall it self out. Tried checking codes and no codes. available.

I'm looking into buying the OFT. Thing is, I have a F10 M5 6MT. I'm curious about the following:

- How many OTS maps are available for the F10 M5 and are they compatible with my 6MT?
- Can you block the o2 CEL when running catless DP's and still pass emmissions?

Thanks!

I'm having engine malfunction and no codes are showing up on V2 flash neither.

it's a shitty issue to have after spending a tone of money and time chasing the cause of the problem. i'm scheduled to dyno tune my car with openflash next week and praying it's just a tune issue that they can fix with some adjustments. will keep you updated and report back after the dyno session.

My check engine light came on yesterday after some spirited driving, but no WOT. The OFT didn't read any codes. I am going to hook it up to my laptop if it is still there today.

Those of you who are having issues with the V2 tune do you all have m5s? If so what year is your m5?

Is anyone having issues with the tune on their m6?

Thanks

I wish I have someone local here in Colorado that can dyno tune my car.
Looking forward to your update!
