Remote Start

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Okay, my local gadget guy claims he can install remote start on my beast! I have searched for info on this and it seems as though the comfort access may cause a problem. Has anyone successfully installed, or had remote start installed (i.e. 20 feet or so from car, push button, car starts)? I have seen posts referencing the BMW remote app, however when I try to download it to my Android phone I get a warning message that the app is not available for the USA. I WOULD LOVE TO WALK UP TO THE CAR AND HEAR THE BEAST COME ALIVE

It's not asking too much! James Bond had a full remote capability on his E38 750iL back in 97 lol...

I agree a remote start in the winter and summer months would be great!

I have wanted remote start just for getting the car cooled down or warmed up. I didn't even think about how we would be able to hear our cars start up and rumble from the outside, that would be way cool.
