Ram air filters m5 f10

Are these worth fitting or do they Cog
The maf sensors with oil ?

Mixed reviews...

No clogging MAFs as they are oil free - but i'm told they aren't great for filtration.

U mean pushing dirt into engine ? That it's sucked in?

Yes - they allow some grit and dust to be sucked in - allegedly.

I am on stock airboxes... I am tempted to run a better class of filter to save my MAFs and inlets getting dirty

What type of filter
You mean like just different element inside the filter Oem box

I've had my ram airs on over 18months and had no issues whatsoever, sounds good too😁.

Have you removed them to see if there is any grit in the inlet piping?
