F10 M5 Turbo Alignment Tool

Hello Gents,

It looks like my 2014 M5 Comp may need a turbo oil return line job.

I am an avid DIYer, but am struggling to find the turbo alignment tool online.
In the tis, an alignment tool is needed part number 2 249 171.
A BMW mechanic I know confirmed it is required on these NEW S63 engines as they have done away with alignment pins on the turbo mounts.

Major bummer for me.

Does anyone here have experience installing these turbos, and possibly know where the tool can be found?

Thanks

Don't see any reason why you couldn't mount the turbos with the clamps on loosely, mount the cats to align the turbos, then tighten the turbo clamps.

That's how I would do it anyway, and it would save money. I would imagine the only time the turbo alignment tool would be needed is when you are fitting the turbos to the engine and shipping it away without having access to the cats.
