2018 M5 Order Guide Posted!

Just came across the ordering guide for the new F90 2018 M5.

http://thebimmertimes.com/2017/07/21...er-production/

Looks like a healthy list of options should push the limits of German performance sedan segment (I'm looking at you E63 S)

Positioning specs added too. I like the new multi-function seat. Looks super aggressive!

I agree that's going to be nice. Something I wish the F10 M5 had.

Nah, you know you would rather have an LCi with the Comp Pack.

I know i cant trade mine, add maybe. I will never get another one like mine, green, CCB, Comp pack and Manual. I researched it online, mines the only one like it.

But if i do, i will wait in 2 years till they get the revise one. They may add self driving then, who knows!

Funny, I think this go around many will wait a year vs rush to be the first and get the LCI upgrade. You know they will do it ......my dealer called me last night to get my spot. Said I will sit this one out no more buying cars I can't touch and feel.

But i think the new m5 would be a new beast that would be difficult to match.

Specs are supercar territory already and thats for half the price.

Weve been through all of these starting with the e39. They just make the rebirth a better looking one.

Bottom line - early adopters lose. Been down this road before many times. It's great to have the new shiny toy first - but when the LCI and/or Comp package comes out you feel slighted. I'll wait...

I didn't catch that! I looked at the Moonroof option and thought it'd be the same Sunroof we have now. But Moonroof is probably just a tinted glass panel that won't open? Or will only tilt, but not open fully?

The M5 is a four door sedan with comfort for four people. To me that comfort includes a sunroof that opens. Sure, the car is fast as hell, but that's no reason not to give it at least the option for a functioning sunroof. I'm not a fan of convertibles and the sunroof is a great compromise.

It comes standard with carbon roof I think, but I prefer a sunroof.

You're not

I use the sunroof A LOT. If it's not raining, too hot or cold I have the sunroof open. Weight reduction is not that important to me there.
