2018 M5 Order Guide Posted!
Just came across the ordering guide for the new F90 2018 M5.
http://thebimmertimes.com/2017/07/21...er-production/ Looks like a healthy list of options should push the limits of German performance sedan segment (I'm looking at you E63 S) Positioning specs added too. I like the new multi-function seat. Looks super aggressive!

Nah, you know you would rather have an LCi with the Comp Pack.

Funny, I think this go around many will wait a year vs rush to be the first and get the LCI upgrade. You know they will do it ......my dealer called me last night to get my spot. Said I will sit this one out no more buying cars I can't touch and feel.

Weve been through all of these starting with the e39. They just make the rebirth a better looking one.

Bottom line - early adopters lose. Been down this road before many times. It's great to have the new shiny toy first - but when the LCI and/or Comp package comes out you feel slighted. I'll wait...

I didn't catch that! I looked at the Moonroof option and thought it'd be the same Sunroof we have now. But Moonroof is probably just a tinted glass panel that won't open? Or will only tilt, but not open fully?
The M5 is a four door sedan with comfort for four people. To me that comfort includes a sunroof that opens. Sure, the car is fast as hell, but that's no reason not to give it at least the option for a functioning sunroof. I'm not a fan of convertibles and the sunroof is a great compromise. |
