Seeing the torque curve appears this doesn't spool up until > 5K RPM?!

Also, where are you tapping vacuum for the BOV?

DME Tuning will be installing the W4 kit onto his newly built forged internal engine from Arsenal Motorsport.
I spoke with him recently about it.
Then we will get some real data from DME on the forums.

This kit was with the GTX3076R option as opposed to the 3071- Customer wanted the bigger option to leave room for growth in the future. With a built engine and some more dyno time I'm sure there is plenty of room for spool improvement.

However, we always suggest the 3071R as the turbos together are capable of 1100+hp which is within a majority of people's goals and they also spool faster.

We are definitely excited about this. They bought a set of 3071R as well as massive 3586's

It's great that these kits are finally being moved around so more data becomes available.

You supposedly built these kits...so you're really just the middle man and selling them as haven't tested anything yourself. Granted getting the numbers from someone who's looking for profit only vs real world results is one thing, but the fact that you're waiting on customers to provide their numbers isn't very encouraging. Seems like all you've done is taken specs from the engines, specs from the turbos, matched things up, do some welding and then see where things go once the customer gets them...so not really a complete turnkey kit...at turnkey prices.

I had the 3076R's on my car and it spooled at 3700RPM and made 1100whp... so I know its possible. Hopefully with more folks going this route we will see further optimizations!

Keep up the innovation!

Every product we create is designed, built, and manufactured here at Weistec. There is no middle man. This kit is the result of many hard hours spent prototyping and testing on multiple vehicles prior to release to verify that we are delivering a high quality product.

Our kit is sold as a direct-fit, bolt-on, easy solution to upgrading your M5/M6 with some proven Garrett turbos. We don't advertise the kit as turnkey because it's not. It is, however, the most complete solution you can get that literally bolts right up and has every piece you need to make it work outside of a tune.

I share tuner's results with you because that's what this kit is. A tuner kit. When we decide to build an off the shelf tune for it we will provide numbers. But this kit really shines in the hands of a tuner on the dyno.

There's definitely some improvements to be made on that tune, but the car was completely stock outside of these turbos so there's really only so much they could do with what they had.

What kind of fuel were you running on that setup?

It would make >1000whp on 100 octane+meth. I had blended in Q16 to push even further. Stock timing... never got to really push that either.

Ahem...so, if you need another F10 M5 to build out, I'd happily lend my car for any upcoming projects!

Because, you know...1700hp!!
