Its going to be interesting to see the torque curve - hopefully these BW turbos flow better and more effiently so the less heat, low boost to HP and the torque curve makes more of a ramp and peaks later so its more progressive.

What gear is that in and how long does it take to get from 3k rpm to 4k? Just trying to get an idea of lag.

actually just found this which i remember reading but din't know where or who wrote it..

-----
We suspect that because of the extremely close proximity of the downpipes to the back of the block, cylinders 4 and 8 were getting extremely hot. We wrapped the downpipes in DEI titanium wrap twice, and reassembled.

After further testing on the dyno, 90% of the smoking immediately went away, everything else left unchanged. We began wrapping the downpipes on all of the F10 cars cars we've put together since

--------

so i guess ima wrap my shit up , Thank's

Had mine done for $100 at a powder coating place. They did it with black Cerakote and it is supposed to withstand up to 2000*. I am overly cautious and asked if we could also wrap it with header wrap. They said not to because of moisture build up--this can cause the coating to crack or rust... So I just left it at ceramic coating.

Yep. This. Non coated may have it's issues, but wrapped has issues as well. I decided ceramic was the best option for mine.

I feel like it would be too much engine for such a nice/luxury sedan. I would buy their package for a fun track car--you could custom stuff that monster into an E36 or E92!

I just think there will be issues with the DCT until something else is released for the transmission to handle the power levels the engine and turbos are capable of pushing.

Has anybody coated the hot side of the turbos? I had my dp's thermal plasma coated and thinking about doing the turbos.

I did both downpipes and exhaust tips the same way and it's amazing how well it holds the heat
