Following up from my last post i looked at after market so called 'carbon' exhaust tip ends. The few with the needed 67mm IN openings in my opinion look ugly and awkward. There are plenty of 63mm nicer ones with slanted outlets but of course these are too small and would not fit so my stock ones remain pulled back an inch looking the biz in their more exposed location and refurbed looking better than what they were when new.

We have very few options for exhaust tips on the M5. I went with Cyba style stainless polished tips. Got them on Ebay from Taiwan for £160. Don't normally purchase from taiwan but took a gamble and these are really good. I can't find them on there now so not sure if they do them anymore.

This is one exhaust tip spec that would change my mind and make me splash the cash.
NO carbon trim just a s/steel or coated mild steel tip for 67mm fitment in with 85mm slightly angled outlet 135mm total length finished in matt or satin dark grey |

Carbon diffuser was the best mod by far, you NEED it.

For sure it looks nice, pipe tips too and I'm working on replacing mine with bigger outlets but for the mo I'm still happy with the stock though as you know, nothing lasts for ever so my stock tips are getting worried.Looking at 89mm outlets.

Yeah mine are 89mm. You'll have a hard time finding tips in this country though.

That's the trouble with M5's,in a New York minute you can fall out of love with something you think is staying on it..then suddenly two buses turn up at once when you've been waiting for weeks.
