Cluster gauge bubbling

Good morning. I have some air bubbles in the gauge cluster. It seems like the previous owner installed a screen shield type of covering on the gauges. Has anyone experienced this or know how I can remove the gauge cluster to see if their is a screen shield type of overlay on the gauges.

Are there any good write ups or videos that show how to remove the cluster plastic/glass so I can check if the protective film is over the gauges?

I really appreciate everyone’s input. Take care.

Looking at your pic, it surely looks like a protective film on the cover glass of the cluster. These glasses scratch easily, so the pre-owner might have tried to eliminate this risk. And the installation of such a film/wrap without removing the whole cluster can certainly result in bubbling, due to the curvage/shape of the glass.
I would just peel off the film, you should be able to grab it in the lower left corner.
It wouldn’t make any sense at all to open the cluster, remove the needles and wrap the cluster itself, at least with a clear film!

How strange, yes just try to remove it as it will bubble up more as time goes by.

The plastic film is not on the cover glass. It seems like it is on top of the gauges. Any idea on how to remove the glass to get to the gauges?

Also the previous owner got this car from Canada. Maybe the clear film is actually a sticker that changed the gauge to mph when car was brought to US from Canada. I’m just throwing out possible reasons.

I really appreciate the help!! Take care.

Removing cluster appears to be not that bad and then with it out you'll see how to get the glass cover off.
