Exclamation 2016 M5 F10 Rear Diff EXPLODED

My Rear Differential exploded on me today, I'm looking to get it fixed up ASAP!!
it could've taken my axels and driveshaft with it, the brace is gone so I'm assuming that went out and then my diff blew up with it, I'm really hoping that my axels and shaft are still ok, lots of loud clunking and grinding when we had to push it in neutral....

Does anyone have recommendations, for a BUILT LSD? I cant find any fucking Built LSD for this car! Figured there would be so many options

Looks like you broke your diff mount not the diff itself. Pretty common. RK and a few others sell billet replacements. Probably took out your driveshaft too.

Ugh! Sorry to see and literally hear this. That diff brace is definitely one of the weak points. I sincerely hope everything else is still ok.

I have the Sales@RKautowerks diff brace but if your bushing is shot you’ll have to buy a whole new brace to extract the bushing. In your situation I’d suggest the Michael@GermanAutoWerks diff brace as they sell theirs with a new delrin bushing.

I do not have experience with this product but if you search the forum you may find some helpful info.

video made my heart skip a beat - esp looking at 50K miles on the odo - and only made better by the rocket distraction.

good luck and report back when you can.

That's just crazy, diff mount needs checking every year at inspection time especially with tuned motor and wider stickier rear tires. Don't want to even think if it happened at high speed.
