Nonsense. These "plumbing elbows" do the job inexpensively and I truly appreciate the idea of this upgrade.

Anyone had any issues with these "cheap" filters affecting the MAFs or Turbos?

I've seen pictures of man's removed from cars with the Ramair foam filters and they are caked in oil and dirt. I've also seen a few cases of those fitted with the front mount intakes that can be seen behind the grilles with turbo blades with chunks chipped off the edges.

This is a useful guide in general for s63 engines, but also mentions filters.....
