Help me identify this noise

Hello guys, posting again because the last post had some link issue. Attaching 3 videos

One video is driving and decelerating
And other two are standstill revs holding it at 1000-1200 rpm.

Is this the wastegate rattle or heatshield? Car has vrsf catless downpipes along with akrapovic exhaust. The standstill rattling has started since a few days and everytime i drive around cruising it sounds like a bag of nails. It’s super embarrassing. Anyone in here?

Video link -

https://youtube.com/shorts/U1ecv8oAcy4?feature=share

https://youtube.com/shorts/pMpEyrcLoNA?feature=share

https://youtube.com/shorts/6lDgDM6IvVY?feature=share

Incase anyone is not able to view from the link here the videos are named ‘Wastegate rattle m6’ ‘heatshield or wastegate?’ ‘Wastegate rattle’ on YouTube. Looking for advice. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like nails rattling in a tin can, I guess get it on a ramp and you may identify the cause better.

Did take on a ramp it sounds like its coming from inside the exhaust. I guess best bet is to open up everything and check. Last work done on car was replacing all suspension bushes. This standstill rattle nonsense started post that only

It may be a loose baffle but I've heard that noise on another vid ages ago from an M5 in Venezuela and that was from a DCT mount/seal from what I remember.

It was on here, but it was about 3 years ago? You'll have to look for it I'm afraid though you could get a link on it from google.

Prolly they messed up something while removing the front struts and replacing the bushing and reinstalling

That's the trouble with these F10's, they're great when running fine then out of the blue some annoying noise or whatever can come up and next you have a small tricky fault that's not easy to find.

Hi. I noticed one thing that the standstill rattle only happens when the car is in Neutral and revs are held at 1000 -1100 rpm. If i slot in D and keep brake on foot and rev to 1000-1100 it does not rattle. Makes me think could this be flywheel rattle due that baffle being messed?

I wouldn't like to say for sure. If the noise is not getting any worse then maybe hang on a bit and if it gets louder have the DCT pulled back for inspection to check flywheel, d/clutch and the baffle.
