Stay F10 M5 for Life, or something new?

I'm on the fence about selling my M5 6-Speed that I love dearly.. holds the whole family, hits the track, looks good, drives good, and is just all-out great.

The new G80 M3 in manual has a fantastic interior, and I love the idea of being able to use 18" track wheels/tires again. New tech is always fun too- and I could option it how I want.

Have ya'll experienced any of that new stuff yet or you staying put for a while?

There's an N/A 911 with my name on it, but it would hardly replace a 4-door monster with a stick.

Best,

I bounced around a lot of cars. M5 is the best jack of all trades. It's not the best weekend car but as a functional car that does it all, there's really nothing better. Only comp for me would be the new plaid. I think that's potentially the only better daily than an M5? but I just refuse.

Nah don't sell, getting rarer by the month.
I use mine for everything including shifting all sorts (back seats down with a sturdy liner) full to the brink.

I will suggest taking the G80 for a spin first.

The steering (hydraulic) feel of the F10 is more engaging than the G-series (EPAS).

As for tech; the G80 tech is going to loose relevance quicker than the f series models.

These are all great points. Maybe I just keep it and park a 911 next to it.

Best,

M8 grand coupe, if it fits the budget.

I'm in agreement with this.
I'm in a love affair with the new 911 Turbo S at the moment. Definitely a future car on my bucket list.

Park a 911 next to it! Here's my 6mt f10 with my 991.2 TTs. Two completely different cars, you'll enjoy them boy!

How do they compare? I sort of love the idea of having an NA car again- but a 997/991 turbo would be bad ASS.

One feels like a death trap and boat (m5) and the other is just ridiculous boring fast lol.

You are going to miss the turbo if you go NA.

I will probably hold on to mine for the long run. I've been bouncing around with cars for a while now and regret selling most of them (especially seeing their current values)

I think if I did sell it, it would be for a 911 but the prices are crazy on them so that won't happen anytime soon.
