Ditto. That my goal also because of Allmotor's comparison of the different stages.

I've already mapped an M5 with both Pure Stage 1 and Stage 2 turbos. And the results were quite good considering we were limited by the amount of boost we could run with the OEM MAP sensors. In order for a nice flat torque curve to be maintained at high RPM, one needs to run more than 22psi up. We will be revisiting these cars soon one we have the 3.5bar MAP sensors installed and are able to run ramp up boost a bit at high RPM

The s63tu has another issue when you don't pre-load boost down low... it just won't always make power up top. You have to find the right balance. Incremental target more boost (via whatever load factor) until 5.5K.

are you tuning to run pure stage 1/2 turbos over 22 psi on a stock motor?

Not yet but we are going to do some testing at slightly higher boost pressure. But only at higher engine speeds where torque is reasonable. Will probably be doing the testing on our shop car.

But you can make the same power with less timing and far lower peak cylinder pressures. Probably the biggest mistake people make is running methanol injection and letting the ECU run an aggressive timing map. It may be knock-free but it's certainly going to induce excessive wear and tear.
So glad to see the smartest person in the room from my STi days here in the M5 room dropping knowledge. Appreciate this info
