Anyone that had Pirelli P zero RFT

Hi

I picked up my 2015 m5 CP yestoday, and the ride is very rough, and is exactly like my former 530d rode with RFT tires.

I test drove a 2014 m5 cp, and it was a much better comfortm, but have no idea what tires it had on.

Problem is really that I have no idea if the tires on my m5 is RFT, there is no indication on the tire, like run flat, rft ext

Its P zeros 295/30/20-265/35/20 on oem 343m.

Is there anyone that knows have to tell ?

I think pirelli indicate it with just R-F.

Get rid of those pirellis and get Michelin MPS4s all round. You'll improve your traction aswell.

Seeems like a no brainer at this point, cant put the power down before i hit 60mph.
Fun going sideways, and leaving black marks on the road, but wast of great acceleration.

I had Pirelli P zero's when I first bought the car and traction was always an issue. Only if it was dry I could get maybe some traction in 2nd but if there was any water on the road, its under controllable. Like others have said (and I did), go with Michelle Pilot Sport 4s and you'll be very happy.

I have the same decision as you. Please give feedback if you drive other tires (MPS4s)

The 305 tires in the back, for me is not just about tracksion, but it looks soo menacing

What tire pressure do you run ?, mine says 3.0 front, 2.7 back in the door side with no back passengers.

I also have to choose between 295/305 but haven't decided yet. For me 2.4 is all around

Mine also has the drivers pack, and that is why i think it says to run such high psi in the door side.

I even called BMW and the were very firm on saying that i had to run the psi it says on the label

But in Denmark the fastest you can drive is 130 kph, so i might lower the pressure.

I've got P Zeros on my M5 at the moment. Fair to say I won't be making the same mistake again - it'll be back to the Michelins.
