Stared longingly at it from the door to my garage while impatiently waiting for winter to end.

All done now and back on the road! It was being carried out due to the clutch failing and spewing swarf all around the circulation system in the gearbox - it wasn't worth just replacing the clutch as the state of the gearbox and mechatronics was questionable so I managed to get a second hand gearbox with 18k on the clock for under £1500.

It was fairly easy, once you get the under body covers off, exhaust off, and downpipes off, access to all of the gearbox bolts is very clear. Just had to make sure the filling procedure and adaptations were carried out by the book afterwards. About 6 hours end to end.

Hey well done for getting it back together, as you say the removal and fitting of DCT looks straightforward just the oil with programming needs some expertise and putting back exhaust, covers etc is reverse of removal.
I gather you had a ramp available, that g/box is no lightweight.

Received and installed new steering wheel from Coby Wheels today. The wheel is a bit beefier now and the alcantara feels great.

1st wash after ceramic coating applied about a month ago! 500 miles covered and frost/ice/salt all over paintwork before washing. Car washed VERY easily, beaded nicely and came back to same condition as it was when coating applied

Added the upgraded subs I've thought about for a while now. Super pleased with the outcome.

Yeah man, kinda torn when it comes to whether to recommend pulling the whole sub box out or leaving it in, the drivers side I pulled and got it set up perfectly, but it was a huge pain trying to get the wires in place with it all set up, passenger side I wired the adaptor plate and then put the sub in and got it all set... on one hand I struggled more during the process, other hand had to redo it all and tinker.

Picked up a fresh set of winter wheels thanks to tenmile . They came out well packed and looking forward to getting them on so I can finally drive the car again for what's left of this winter here in Korea.

Try the other way around: not too much oversteer and better stance with 5 front and 12 rear

Nice, just a wee bit glossier than mine.

What did you pay for the 305 and which did you get? Discount has a range from 377-450 with 99Y and 103Y with a few different O.E. designations, I see one for Porsche and Ford and GM-Buick with 99Y and load range of SL.

Flashed an updated tune in my car. I got a "fuel system malfunction" that I couldn't clear and that freaked me out for a minute or two. Reflashed and it's gone for now. I'm on the original battery so hoping it's a battery issue. Checked the voltage after a long drive and it read 11.7v so definitely going to buy a replacement.

Paid $1,7xx mounted/balanced @ Firestone. They ended up ordering them and just meet DiscountTire pricing. The 305's are 103Y. I think the 99Y version is for the runflats...which we cant run. I had that same question, the other versions were "approved" by respective manufacturers.
