Too funny, when I saw your pics I was thinking the shop looked almost identical to the one I visited. I was impressed with Jason and the other guy he had there. Your pics brought me to that shop, I expect my pics to get him some business as well.

Hope to meet you i person at one of the local events sometime...

I'm just going to put some ceramic on my wheels, as yourself I'm fed up of washing the wheels after short mileage and when treated a hose over them will remove the dust and I'm happy just using the Poor Boys World blue polish liquid. I bought Rain X from Costco for the front screen, in fact did the sides and back also as it came in a 2 pack.

Man these are great shots! Did you have to do a lot of editing to this or mostly camera and lens. I've been meaning to buy a camera solely for car pics. Not trying to spend too much. Any suggestions?

I currently have the iPhone 11 lol.

That depends on what you see as not too much. The iphone will give you great images, especially during the day.

Thank you. Not a lot of editing for these photos. I'm currently using a Sony A7ii with a 50mm 1.8 lens.

As for a beginning camera, I started out on a Canon T3i Rebel. The rebel series is a good beginner camera (used it for like 8 years). Costco currently has a good deal on Canon T7 rebel right now that I'd suggest. And I'd recommend getting the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens for that as well to get awesome portrait shots (you can use mine if you wanna try it out). Finally I use Lightroom as my main editing software.

Yeah for stills the iPhone is pretty. The reason why I use my camera so much is because I like to take rollers and also to have full control of the camera. If they make an iPhone that can control shutter speed, then we'd be talking.

I believed that the sony 50mm 1.8 was soft in the corners, especially at f1.8 - f8. I saw how cheap they were but the reviews put me off, no point in having a fast lens if it's no good wide open. What's your opinion on it?

I use my note 10 plus in pro mode, this allows you to control shutter speed etc. I very rarely use the phone though to be fair, only for quick snaps.

So far from a few days of use, its a very good portrait lens. And for being only $200 bucks, its a great return on investment. There is definitely some better lens out there but photography for me is a hobby.

Those are pretty cool as well. I would have gone with something like that but I wanted to change it up a little with burnt tips.

I love photography also and have invested a lot in bodies and lenses. Im a canon shooter though...my go to lens is the 85mm 1.2L - what a beast of a lens.

I also shoot a lot with the 70-200mm 2.8L.

I still havent got had the chance to take proper photos of my car with my camera yet, weather here in the UK hasnt yet allowed me + i need to wash the car.

How do you take the rollers? Another vehicle I assume, do you have a camera mount in the other car?

Im looking at getting a camera myself to capture my car/mods.

Nice nice! I used to have canon for years but after seeing Sony in action, it just works perfect for me. Main benefits I had was how fast the shutter speed is, how small the camera (and lens) is, the auto focus is great (especially for rollers & video) and the view finder is digital.

Yes, you need two cars. You just have to adjust the settings on your camera to get the right picture (shoot in manual mode always). No mounting, I just hold the camera out of the window (I use this wrist camera strap to hold onto the camera)

I'd suggest for starting out to get a Canon rebel series (currently there is a T7 at Costco for a good deal). Or buying a used camera as well.

Did a little subtle change today. Been wanting to do this for a while. Got some Matte Ghost Blue wrap for the support bars behind the grill. Cut two prices 5 by 15.5 inches, cleaned the surfaces and placed the wrap. Very happy with the results. Probably see more of it when it's sunny

I like the wrap, very into subtle bits that go together on cars. I'm thinking of doing the same thing if I can find a wrap that matches the CCB's close enough...
