Catalytic converter problem!

Hello guys, 2013 M5, the code keeps coming out every other week after I clear it. Don't know if I just need to replace the sensor or the catalytic converter. If it's the catalytic converter, thinking about going catless and resonator delete. Thoughts ?

It's possible the converter went bad. How many miles on the car? How many miles on your O2 sensors?

I would start by replacing all 4 O2 sensors. Both precat sensors are going to be shot at 70k miles. I changed mine at 60k and had a noticeable improvement in driveability.

The post cat O2's are what monitor the gases. A combination of lazy precat O2's and bad readings from the post cat O2's could cause the DME to think the cat is bad.
