Panel Filters Eventuri vs BMC

Hi folks,

I am considering upgrading my OEM filter panels with either Eventuri panel filters or BMC panel filters (dry).

I do not want to remove the air boxes or do any other modification on my intakes.

The question is very simple. Does anybody have experience with Eventuri panels filters or BMC panel filters? Any feedback.

I'd regard either as equal, so would go with whichever is cheapest. Both are very high quality, although neither will yield any gains in the real world, compared to standard filters.

I thought they were free flowing?

I do not want to add a cold air intake as I think they do more damage in the long term...

I have not seen any data showing one is better than the other.

Both are reputable brands and make high-quality filters, get the one you like the most; you won't regret it either way.

Hi Mike, i think the BMC filters come pre-oiled whereas the Eventuri are dry.

I think I will go with the dry filters to avoid any possibility to soiling the MAF sensors (highly unlikely, I know, but...)

2.5 years on bmc on this platform after 3 years on f80. zero issues whatsoever.

before install I blotted the panels and dried them out a bit.
