What tune do I have?

Recently purchased a low mile F10 M5 that has documentation with it and shows 2 different flash tunes. The latest being a BPM Sport ECU tune from the receipts. Anyway of hooking up a laptop and figuring out what is running on this? And if I was to get a flash tune would I be able to backup the existing tune before flashing any other flash tune?

Thinking of getting BM3 or ESS and then BMS JB4 for monitoring and tweaking.

Any thoughts? Thank you for any feedback.

I would reach out to Mike at BPM Sport. I definitely wouldn’t remove a BPM tune over an ots from BM3 or ESS.

In fact, I went the exact opposite way myself. However, if you do, BM3 is great for data logging and I still use it when needed.

Thank you. If it is BPM I will keep it for sure. I have reached out to them and am waiting to hear back. What do you think of adding on the BMS JB4? The previous owner looks to have had that as well but removed it.

M5_Raz my car comes from the CA Bay Area. Alekshop did the work on it. Maybe you have seen it before, I have pics in my profile.
