Alt solution to costly scoops..WIP

Since I have 17 3d printers, been working on this little project. Still needs little tweak to meet my liking...but nearing the final revision. Also working on a rearview mount for my V1 since the Blend mount IMO it too costly for this purpose. Both items will be offered btw.

Hrmmm...odd glare looking like scratches on upper bumper section...not really present...thank god LOL.

*Disclaimer: I do not have night vision so I am NOT 100% certain if it will be compatible for those with night vision. If anyone could provide a pic of how that interior grill area looks I might be able to make a Version2 for those owners.

Going to mirror the design for the passenger side to make certain not different angles and such. Will be sending that print later tonight to verify. Plus running 1 scoops doesnt look to proper for me lol.

Curious on the forum rules as far as "vendors" go also. As I do have a site and an LLC for my "side" business.

Are scoops shown to provide more power, or is it more of one of those feel-good mods that people do because they're cheap and popular?

This you would need to research on your own to be honest. But in theory, front mount scoops force more colder air into the air intake box when driving which is beneficial in my own opinion. I by now means make any claims...but look around, it is a mod done by most.

I just sold a pair of my E60 scoops (not sure if they really helped or not, installed them in 2015). I probably should have kept them to see if they'd fit the F10 :-/

Different setup as I had the RPi scoops on my E60 before I went with the Eventuri.

Status update, even though I now have the attached, I will continue to develop this scoop for the M5 F10. I noted after a few days of use, the scoops started to deform a bit due to heat. So I will be switching to a different material and/or try to anneal them prior to installing. More info to come.
