But realistically, Bottas is usually slower in race form and probably wasn't holding Lewis up. And maybe he was pushing real hard in quali and genuinely screwed up.

Yup. I thought the same thing about the race. Seemed like Bottas knew about the penalty and was trying to back him into the pack. I wouldnt blame him if that was his tactic, is pretty smart. Those 15 points could be huge!

actually i thought about the same right after the decision that Lewis ll have a penalty.. could be fast swap and Lewis could stretch out a bit but i guess they didnt do it since cars were problematic and its the first race of the season.. but something tells me that Bottas wont be a team player that much this year.. if he can be champion it can work but if he wont im not sure big heads at Merc' d like to keep him for 2021 as a team player.. its a very thin line for him and both sides except the straight line is full of poo..

If you look at Hamilton on lap 1, he has the exact same situation that he had with Albon late in the race, but roles reversed and he backs out of it even though he was ahead. Food for thought. Early race vs late race, but still.

Kerb vibration may be a returning problem for Merc for their complex configuration that can cause interference between the systems could affect their pace. They had it relatively easy with the RB of Max being sidelined with a technical problem and Albon being taken off the track when challenging for the lead.Hopefully with the RB's cars' electrics rectified and challenging more effectively the Mercs could be between a rock and a hard place if it means using the kerbs (which they will have to for more pace and we could be in for a far more exciting race than last Sunday.

Wrong. Once they entered the corner Hamilton was behind.

When Hamilton hit Albon, Albon was already ahead of him. Very different situations

his engineer repeated for collecting marbles before coming to grid mate since after the race, cars go to weight.. they re just marbles sticked to tires.. i have some of those in my drawer..
