Sport display in M5 2012

hello guys I tried to encode the sports displays in my 2012 m5 but they don't work, they stay still on the 0, I had read that in the dme of 2011-2012 there was no wire or more of one that went to the dme to the navigator. Having just put bm3 stage 2 I would have liked to see the displays work, does anyone remember who made this change?

I found the discussion, I think it is not only missing threads, unfortunately, too bad.

Yep, not do-able on the pre LCI M5 to the best of my knowledge (they'll display, but won't work or be scaled for the M5).

Not completely true, early LCI models won't have a working sports display either. To my knowledge, must be 2015 model and newer!

sadly, i wont work with our dme (1728). i've read somewhere else that lci m5 with ewg has different dme (172h) which calculates horsepower/torque data.

No one ever searches or they would have found the answer already.

No it doesn't work at all pre-LCI. Even on the the last of the LCI models with the revised wastegate and sensor it doesn't really work. On those last models it is just a fake display based on what the engine SHOULD be putting out at a given RPM/load/etc. any mods (or malfunctions) are not detected. You could be down a cylinder or two and it would still indicate full stock performance.
