Everyone,
please BEWARE of this guy.. The dude is a scammer. He scammed me for $1k. Long story short, he hit me up after I posted on this forum about "WTB a set of CF M Performance interior trims." He had me to believe that he had one to sell. We agreed on the price and i sent the money right away. The dude then never sent me the part. I asked for my money back and the dude kept said he would refund me .. but he never did! it has been a month since and i haven't received the part nor my refund. Such a scumbag!!!

Oof.
Lesson learned. I’m sorry this happened, but using a non purchase protected form of payment invites these scumbags to the forums. Have you discussed with your bank? They may offer some form of protection. |

Yeah, if seller says doesn't use paypal walk away otherwise travel to the place of goods if not far away and pay cash what you think it's worth. There was something similar with some M5 brakes put up for sale a while ago on here.

I almost fell for a Eventuri CF intake scam, the seller offered PayPal, but just PayPal Friends. I told him I will cover the fees and he insisted on a down payment upfront to cover the shipping cost, because the protected payment would have been locked for 14 days. Then he sent me a bogus shipping quote and he got rather aggressive in the end, so I walked away. I'm located in Germany, seller was in the US, so no personal pickup possible. Anyway, if it's too good to be true, run away please. I purchased an Eventuri intake later on, regular price and I'm totally happy!
I hope your bank will support you, otherwise tough lesson learnt. Sorry 😐 |

There's a ton of that happening here. Ask for references lol. These guys usually have 1-2 posts over the course of 1 year+; very sketch. You post a WTB, they suddenly have what you're looking for lol. Always use paypal.

yep, good call there, two layers of protection; paypal AND your CC company.
