Look forward to hearing how you get on - sounds like too many people run into these sorts of issues at this point of the process. Hopefully you can get it resolved!

Umnitza customer service is very responsive. To solve the passenger side turn signal not working, they suggested that the problem was systemic to the fact that the board – the TMS – would not fully seat on the passenger side at all. I took it off the board holder, pushed it in really hard, and then installed the plastic cover over the board, that extra 3-4mm of insertion solved the issues.

After that, Adrian / SF BMW Coding did a remote code session removed all the error codes. Lights work flawlessly, brighter than OEM, fitments are spot on, and total update the car's look.

Umnitza headlights don't have an adaptive headlight function, will need code to remove the adaptive headlights error

So true! I had a 2012 M5 with bi-xenon headlights, best option for a pre-LCI. Then I looked into upgrading to full adaptive LED headlights and the total cost shocked me. In the end, I sold the 2012 and got a 2014 LCI with this option, never looked back.
Umnitza is a valid option, but the adaptive feature is amazing and I prefer OEM parts.

They are expensive no doubt and time consuming to fit without the adaptive and with removal of front bumper involved.
Personally I'm happy with my bi-xenons and even some lci have xenons, the leds being an option.
