2017/2018 Map Update for the M5

Hey guys,

North America Next 2018-1 and North America Premium 2018-1 is available for the M5's navigation system if you guys are interested.

Same with Europe Premium 2018-1 and Europe Move 2018-1 (no Europe Next 2018-1 yet).

what is the cost and what do the different versions mean? i have a 13 M5 if that helps any

The different versions are for different models of navigation system.

The 2013 and up M5 is equipped with the NBT system and requires the Next maps.

I have never updated the maps on any of my cars. Is this something that you all do frequently (ie: annually)?

I see mostly 2013 Model Cars in this thread.

A lot of my customers update annually at least, sometimes twice a year (BMW technically produces 2 updates a year for North America and Europe).

European 2016 maps are available now as well for those that may be interested.

Europe West Premium 2016-1 (3 DVD)
Europe East Premium 2016-1 (3 DVD)
Europe Next 2016-1

Both Premium maps are the 3-DVD/3-USB version of the maps, BMW hasn't published the single USB version of the maps yet for some reason.

I'm in the process of uploading these now (I've been trying to get them uploaded *all* day, but the storms in my area have been playing hell with my internet connection).

For the US? I know there were some major changes in my area due to new construction. If you've had a lot of new roads and construction in your area, it's worth the upgrade.
