Post Cat O2 Sensors - How neccessary?

Post Cat O2 Sensors.

After some research, it seems some people say these aren't necessary and haven't even had them in for years, and some people say it will throw off the calibration of the front O2 sensors.

I damaged my post cat driver side sensor (not sure how, the insulation is stripped on a wire) probably happened during my DP install.

I must have been driving with it like this for at least 8-900 miles since the install and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.

Do I need to replace the sensor or can I just screw plugs back into the DP and carry on with my life? Are these sensors ONLY for Emissions? (which is totally f**d now that I am catless)

not an expert here
but if you are running bootmod3 and you have a stage 2 tune - and have the "Catalytic Monitors" set to "off". its pretty much not reading those post cat senors anyways

but yet when i did my catless DP everyone said to install them

AFAIK the post cat o2's are typically only used for emissions purposes.
