Muffler Delete W/ Resonators

I saw a post a while back where someone replaced their mufflers with a second set of Magnaflow resonators... Looked exactly like the SOUL exhaust but not quite as refined.

Has anyone done this? How does it sound? Do the resonators help the drone?

I can't add much to this.. however I've replaced the resonators on every car I've owned lol. You never really know how its gonna turn out.. and spending money on a big name exhaust is just ridiculous at the price levels.

However., I bit the bullet and got the SOUL exhaust installed. OMG it is absolutely amazing.. mind blowing to be honest. So yeah.. go for it IMO. The stock is so so quiet... you can't go wrong hacking the stock exhaust

Considering you can get resonators for $75 it can't hurt to try.

I'm trying to understand why people are paying $1200 for a turner muffler delete when you can get a shop to weld in a straight pipe for <$100. Is there something I'm missing?

That's exactly what I did. Very happy with the results. Car sounds much better now. There is a little drone around 1.8k rpm but besides that little bit, it's soo worth it.

Total cost $200 usd ($50 tips from eBay and $150 shop time)

Would you mind sharing the link for where you got your exhaust tips from? If not what size are they?

The shop had to modify the muffler tips to fit the resonators so it worked out. If not, I'd recommend getting 3inch inlets

From the car. I removed my stock resonators a few weeks back and installed straight pipes. Then later took those stock resonators and put them in for the mufflers.

So essentially, you just moved the resonators from the midpipe to the rear section just before the tips?

Yeah I did. Catless downpipes didn't work for my lifestyle. Too much of a gas smell
