How rare is 2014 Frozen Gray ext with black/red int.?
Found a car '14 with 42k miles. The stitching inside is all red. Lovely car. How rare is it? How many units made in 2014? Thank you in advance.

I assume that is a BMW Individual build car as you don't see many with the two tone leather with contrast stitching.
Looks like a decent spec. Good that it's got the B&O too. |

Thanks for the response. Any way to tell if this an actual matte paint on the outside and not a wrap. Also the black wheels, exhaust tips came with the car and not put on after?

That's a really unique and cool spec. If you're looking at pics online, check the door jambs, the trunk lifter arms, and under the hood for a different color. Those are areas that usually won't be wrapped. I'd be willing to bet it's genuine BMW Frozen Paint through BMW Individual. That looks like thousands of dollars worth of customized leather and deviated stitching through BMW Individual, which is usually accompanied by Individual Paint.

That's the first F10 I've seen with contrast stitching other than white. It looks like different colors was an option. I wonder why more cars weren't ordered this way.
Unless it was ridiculously expensive to do which I'd have no doubts about.

I think it would follow the same depreciation curve as other f10 m5s, but I would imagine (and since I own a Frozen Brilliant White F10 M5 I hope) a Frozen Paint car would sell for more than a standard color. You won't get the $5,000 extra BMW charged for it when new, but at least to me it was worth a little extra vs. a standard paint job.

Hello everyone...
I ended up taking this car home. Strangely enough, I can't find any forum history on it. Seems strange for such a unique build. I don't suppose any of you have and leads on the previous ownership of this car? Any history whatsoever? It seems to be pretty solid, just in desperate need of a serious clean and detail. Any info would be greatly appreciated... |

Congratz on the pick up! I actually have the same exact frozen Gray spec'd M5. I definitely think its unique and sets apart from all the other M's on the road.

Amazing! Glad to know there is another one out there...are you on the west coast? I had this one shipped east. We don't get color combos like this very often. Seems like all the triple black cars end up in Florida for some stupid reason 🙄

I know what it's like to just miss out on a car, so I get it. If it's any consolation, it seems like they have a bunch of these in inventory. I even saw a 6spd pop up while all my mess was going on. Anyhow, thanks much...I look forward to a whole new commute! |
