Thank you guys,
Need to do a few things for this M5............................... 1. Get complete XPEL Paint Protection Film wrap in Clear Satin. Tested on a actual Frozen colour panel and it look as it is. Sending it in on Monday to do a complete wrap up. 2. Painting the rim in complete Gloss Black rather than the original 2 tone. I have to agree it look great in 2 tone in the picture but in real life I don't like them in 2 Tone. 3. Ceramic Brakes. (Didn't Option it because of Australia LCT (Luxury Car Tax). Getting it now escape the LCT. Will update the result. Thanks |

Wow - I don't think I've ever seen anyone go through removing bumpers covers, headlights, taillights, door handles...etc! If your gonna do it right...that seems to be done PERFECT.

I love seeing people NOT cutting corners and doing it the RIGHT way. Though, I'm sure that runs the labor cost up quite drastically.

5 days job all done!!! Finally done with the wrapping, painted the 601M wheels to Glass Black, Side and front grill both painted Gloss Black too.
I would say the satin wrap finish effect is almost the same as the Frozen Dark Silver finishing. Look at the Door handle it is unwrap at the moment. Need to park the car under the sun for a few days to let the water fully evaporate. Thank you for viewing

Looks great. Maybe I missed it, but why didn't you order the factory CCBs? The gold would make that car look even more killer. I like the 601s in black too.

Its to do with luxury car tax i believe ( if he gets ccb after it will save him paying money to govt for no reason ). The lovely aus govt tax if your buying a decent car.He probably paid rolls royce ghost money for his m5 to start of with.
Hope to see your car in syd on the roads.. it will be pretty rare in aus. Last edited by Aapparition90; 11-01-2014 at 01:28 AM.. |
