With the car on press the traction control button once to active it. You’ll see both MDM and traction sign on. Then press and hold traction button again and MDM will turn off and traction will be fully disabled

the big mystery is WHY it DOESNT work on my car, and im not alone,

but if trac is broken, it wouldnt function, nor MDM, but they do, perfectly, it just wont fully disable

Maybe the car thinks you're not capable with traction off. Only joking. So there are no codes stored in the ABS/DSC module?

I would hook up ISTA at this point and monitor what you can. Also the obvious scan of modules as well. Usually what happens when there is a malfunction is that systems turn off rather than get stuck on in case they aren't working properly. At least that's how it works in all previous gen cars.

Sounds more like a coding issue. Guess the one you did with 200 dollars is an driving-adapt reset.

I would definitely check the coding as mentioned above. Maybe its reset itself at some point. I had a similar thing happen to my door locks. I had to go in and code them back to how they were for no apparent reason.

my exact thoughts! because i had a previous car that the dsc would get u killed as it killed all power at any tiny slip. horrible. HAD to have dsc off always

point is, dsc had a malfunction and it just stopped working and i was cool with it Because I didn't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off anymore. it was off

I got the exact issue as you did, takes me couple weeks to figure out what to do, glad I fixed by contacting BPMsport and let Mike coding my car to enable the dsc off and update all my module software to the latest version, also did a comprehensively check my car for no other issues. To those who have the same issue, BPMsport is way to go.
