Michelin PS4S vs Continental ExtremeContact Sport

Does anyone have experience with both tires? There is a quite a price difference (~$60 per tire). TireRack did a test between them and I'm not sure that the performance justifies the price difference. I like to stick to what I know and so I just purchased my 3rd set of PS4S, but I'd be willing to try something different on my next set if someone has had positive experiences.

PS4S is the winner here. I've ran both.

The Conti's are good. The PS4S are great. Much better traction and wear longer.

Awesome. I get roughly 10k miles on the rear sets and 20k on the fronts. It’s hard for me to compare because PS4S were the first and only tires I’ve had since I purchased the car. It’s the $1500/4 that makes me question it!

My wife has an F10 535i with Conti ExtremeContact DWs and they are okay. Much more road noise and not the best grip. I think from the charts the EC Sports are much better than the EC DW. I’m going to test out the EC Sports when she’s due for tires. I’ll stick with PS4S for now on my car. My new set will be here tomorrow!

PS4S Pilots all day as even the Super Sports don't cut it, 305's on the back will make you even happier.
