My new to me f10 m5 first oil change

Hello everyone,

I am taking delivery of a new to me 2013 m5 this coming monday. It was a spurr of the moment decision. I always wanted another m5 since i sold my e39 m5 and i love the red interior option. Long story short, i found the exact m5 i wanted w/red interior and all the options i was looking for. I couldnt pass it up.

Soooo, i am in the process of selling my 2012 550i and since i hadnt planned to move on from it just yet, i had ordered ngk plugs, liqui moly 5w40, and everything to change the oil. It works out because the ngk plugs are 2 step colder and the oim filter appears to be the same. I also ordered replacement kandN pannel filters for the m5 so i can change them at the same time.

According to the vin, the car has had regular service at bmw its entire life and has 41k miles. My plan is to change the plugs, oil, and air filters on Monday when it is delivered. I already have the parts and will feel comfortable knowing it has all been done before enjoying the new car.

BIG QUESTION: i also have 2 bottles of ceretec. Has anyone ever put these in an f10 m5? Should i put them in as well?

Also at 41k miles should i do any other maintenance right away? I was thinking coolant flush.

You don't need Ceratec if you're your using the new formula liquid moly.

Update on the history. I called the shops that have serviced it and check the vin with bmw.

First owner:
Regular service at least every 5k miles at the same bmw it was purchased at until sold at 30k.

2nd owner:
Transmission flush, rotors and pads replaced at 32k
Owned car for 3 years and drove 11k total miles.
I spoke the shop that perfomred this service and they knew the owner said he changed the oil on his own which is why they didnt. They sent me the inspection they did on the car and everything looked good.

Welcome! Congrats on the purchase. It sounds like a fantastic car.

IMO, no need to flush the coolant yet. You should consider a brake fluid flush and diff oil change. If you're handy at basic DIY, these are doable at home as well.
