I agree on most points except the 10 MM drop and loud exhaust both of these features differentiate the CP from regular build
10 MM makes a big different if you put it side by side
I have CP with Titanium Akrapovic exhaust to me this is the best feature of my car both look & sound

But you could make changes to the exhaust valve/piping and change the springs to get a 10mm drop for much lower than the incremental CP price?

But then you'd hear the chug-chug-chug of a diesel!

Sad day but the UK Plod are hitting Speeding hard now, doubling points and fines, soon it will be like Drink Driving, a complete No No

After M6/M5/M3 I have dropped too 535D M Sport, even this is very quick for UK roads.

How hard and costly would it be to modify the rear diff and steering in a non competition package car to competition specs and what parts and or programming would be required? I don't care about the rest as I plan on custom tune, wheels, lowering, exhaust anyway.

Thinking of replacing a low mileage 14 GT500 with M5. Trying to decide between a slightly higher mileage base model with extended warranty, and lower mileage comp package without extended warranty, but still with 10 months of factory warranty left. Comp pkg car also is much more well equipped as far as modern conveniences. Both true MT. At this point also wondering if the comp pkg cars are more likely to hold value better, especially as they're more rare, especially with MT.
Opinions?

The best comparison I have read between a non Comp and a Comp and certainly after reading it does not make a Comp that's advertised for sale that special to me personally.
