2009 FORMULA 1 PETRONAS MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX (Kuala Lumpur)
The Australian GP just finished less than 48 hours ago....
teams are already scramble and getting ready for the Malaysian GP coming this weekend....and so should we.... I still reckon Brawn GP will up somewhere up the field after qualify and grab plenty points.....its just not enough time for the McLarens and Ferraris to improve enough in just a few days..... hope this race will be as exciting as the season debut!!!

Im thinking Kubica will be in the running near the front again. Hopefully we wont have the accidents that we had in Melborne now that the drivers are a bit more accustomed to how the new cars act in a real race situation.

It's supposed to be a wet race...
Would favour Button, Hamilton & Vettel's driving styles. Unless Massa has learned a thing or two from Herr Rain-Meister. . |

in Australia...the glare almost gave a lot headache to the drivers.... http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,189...125982,00.html

If there's no rain, it'll be interesting to see the tire wear different between KERS & non-KERS cars in the Malaysian heat. . |

Anyone here have a PS3? I am gonna be running laps @ Sepang this week. Who wants to join me online?
If you don't have a PS3, and you have $450 burning a hole in yoru pocket, go pick up F1 champ edition and a PS3 to play it on. Only bummer is that the cars are form the '06 season. And there is no update in sight. Still fun to be able to "race" at the tracks prior to the race.

Shame about it being '06, would be nice to play the '09 season & have a go at KERS. Not that I have a spare $450 handy . |

Lap Record at Melbourne - 1:24.125 (MS 2004)
Fastest Lap '09 - 1:27:706 (Rosberg - interestingly, without KERS) Lap Record Malaysia - 1:34.233 (JPM 2004) Any guesses to the lap times this season? Assuming a dry race, I'm guessing KERS on the straights will claw back some time so I'll go for a 1:36:800 dry lap. I still think it'll be a wet one though... . |

The 3 teams that are running the diffusers will have the advantage until they get back to europe, where they can redesign better diffusers. Brawn, Williams, and Toyota should be running in the front again this weekend.
