2010 Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix
Not the most exciting track, but still much better than middle-eastern ones.
And this is one famous one where Bridgestone recommend "tire-eater" Lewis Hamilton to make additional pit stop for the sake of his tires. That got him lose out in 2008. We'll see if this year there's similar recommendations to Lewis again. Race Date: 30 May 2010 Circuit Name: Istanbul Park Number of Laps: 58 Circuit Length: 5.338 km Race Distance: 309.396 km Lap Record: 1:24.770 - JP Montoya (2005) F1 TIMETABLE (ISTANBUL LOCAL TIME) Fri 28 May 2010 Practice 1 10:00 - 11:30 Practice 2 14:00 - 15:30 Sat 29 May 2010 Practice 3 11:00 - 12:00 Qualifying 14:00 Sun 30 May 2010 Race 15:00 F1 TIMETABLE (PACIFIC TIME) Fri 28 May 2010 Practice 1 00:00 - 01:30 Practice 2 04:00 - 05:30 Sat 29 May 2010 Practice 3 01:00 - 02:00 Qualifying 04:00 Sun 30 May 2010 Race 05:00 F1 TIMETABLE (EASTERN TIME) Fri 28 May 2010 Practice 1 03:00 - 04:30 Practice 2 07:00 - 08:30 Sat 29 May 2010 Practice 3 04:00 - 05:00 Qualifying 07:00 Sun 30 May 2010 Race 08:00

You are delirious. Almost all the drives love this track, and all they talk about is Turn 8.

yes i am.....i don't see this race was as exciting as Brazil last year.... might be fun to drive, but what about viewing? I hope you don't think i'm a driver... Many drivers also like Monaco, but for us, besides the girls and glamor, sometimes the race could be boring...and wat's up with Spain? *yawn* I'm not saying its boring...just not as exciting to watch as Spa, Brazil....

But you never know!
I can see there's a lot close competition this year from P3-P8 between the Ferraris, McLarens, and Mercedes. FRIGGIN RBR in their own little universe owning P1 and P2.... So far they are as good as Brawn GP last year. Just some unfortunate events happened with Vettel...

I remember Bob Varsha said something like after La Source, there's another grid start for supporting races. just imagine you are sitting on the grid for GP2 or Porsche GT2 races....waiting for the start and staring on the Raidillion hill.... its just WOW!!! even tho its a long track...but it does have a good flow and rhythm...
