It is more than marginally faster. That was actually not a good run for the TTS. TCM3 will tell you that. His buddy just ran a 2.8 in his non S. All the traction in the world and the M5/6 won't run with that car.

It is a faster top end by 12 mph but it will take the McClaren a llloooonnnggg time to pas the TTS. The McClaren will lose in the 1/4 to the TTS and as you saw, lose big time 0-60. The 997 TTS was something but the 991 is an entirely new ball game. Certainly one of the fastest production cars in the world. And I can gurantee you it is the most comfortable to drive. The new chassis is nothing short of remarkable.

Thanks. I looked for that and found it. Definitely a great option. I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild with that. Really sets it apart nicely.

Trust me. I know how it feels. The Porsche dealers apparently automatically add the sold orders to their inventory on their websites. It has almost given me a heart attack on more than one occasion!

The true estimated 0-60 of the 991 TTS is 2.6. The 997.2 ran about 2.9. In any case. They are both FAST!

To the OP the Champion Motorsport Non S 991 just ran 126 at 10.9 so the non s is no slouch. Pop a tune on the non S and its faster than the S and I have no doubt the tune will be coming soon to a shop near you.

All this turbo talk has me thinking- my dealer just offered me a free turbo build (no dep) for March delivery but I have my GT3 slated for June.

10s out the box and high 120s stock? That is insane!! Very good dilemma indeed, though I'm partial to the GT3.
