It's not a mistake, that's about right for the Denmark pricing. A base M5 Comp is around 120k Euro in Bulgaria.

A base M5 (non comp) is 1,929,791 DKК which according to Google is around 220,893 GBP. It's really not hard to check this.

Here is the link!
https://www.180grader.dk/politik/sam...or-ny-bil-559/ Google helped me translate it. I just bought a used 2015 x5 40d with 70.000km on the clock 800.000kr. - $120.500 So the price on the car is right I live in Denmark! Total tax for new car: 559% Here is a calculation that shows how grotesque the taxation of a car in Denmark is, and how much money is to be used to afford what should be an ordinary family car. The example is a VW Passat 1.6 TDI BlueMotion that runs up to 24.4 km / l. It stands at the dealer for 352,998 kr. Of this, 25% is VAT: 70,599.kr Price ex. VAT is therefore 282,398kr Of this amount, the registration tax (105% of DKK 79,000 and 180% of the rest from DKK 79,000 and up): DKK 160,381. The real price for the car is therefore 122.017 kr. So good, but taxation doesn't stop here. For as a top tax payer, which a large part of the working population is, the total amount of DKK 352,998 must be earned home, and paid by taxed funds. In order to have DKK 352,998 extra in the hand to pay the car - with a marginal tax of 56.1% - DKK 804,095 must be earned before tax. It is more than 2 full yearly salaries for most people. The end result is that in order to buy a car worth DKK 122,017, a total of DKK 804,095 must be paid, of which DKK 682,078 is tax. A total tax of 559% for buying a car. It is one of the consequences that there is never anyone who sees the Danish tax system in a context. There are lots of individual areas, each of which is thought to be fire-taxed: work, cars, energy, housing, sugar, fat etc. But when the effects of these taxes are added together, the result becomes completely crazy as the above. |

Norway is similar to Denmark, but the Swedish car prices and taxation on pre owned cars is nowhere near it’s neighbors levels. I pay about 280GBP /yr for my F10 M5.

I paid 699.000 kr (almost $64.000) for my 2012 M5 last september. Yup, aint cheap being a car guy in Norway. Could have bought a brand new Tesla, as all EV in Norway are 0% tax.

I recently paid £24,000.00 for a 2015 M5 with 42k miles covered, in the North of England UK. Which sounds incredibly cheap in comparison to what some of you guys have/are paying in Denmark/Norway/Sweden etc.

Think it all depends where you live and being desperate to sell is not a good idea. There is a 'want' market for our cars and if you really do want to sell it then do it at an early stage and not when you take delivery of a replacement car with the buyer knowing this.Always better to say you don't really want to sell but are keen to move up if the price is right and stay firm with the asking price if you know it's worth that.
