Tune suggestion '15 CP

I am looking to get a bit more power out of the car. Right now I have a stock 2015 CP car. Other than tune all I think I would do is MAYBE Dp's at some point. Given this what is the best / safest tune available?

If Jb would you suggest jb stage 1 or JB4? I don't want to risk engine issues or DCT slipping.

With regards the map the OFT is flat torque whereas BM isn't it's higher.

Also with OFT you buy a tablet from them and they load the maps onto it to suit your car, this has to be posted from the USA

With BM you use your laptop and download maps from that, you pay online and they send you an activation code so it's quicker.

You can switch maps on both in about 6 mins.

I suggest you go and look on YouTube

I don’t think you will go wrong with either

With bm3 you have more options for more power with the ability to have a custom tune and also there’s a racefuel map ready for big power but all this is irrelevant I guess if your not wishing to push the power

Also bm3 you can use your phone to flash maps which take about 30 seconds now with the new software I think open flash takes 20+ mins but could be wrong

All good points

OFT is 6 mins between tunes and you use the tablet they send you

With the OFT, is one able to read/clear diagnostic codes? Also, does the OFT tablet come pre-loaded with all the tunes? If so, how are additional tunes added that come to fruition later on?

Yes you can read and clear codes

You get the OFT with no tunes on it, you then connect to the car where it reads your cars config data etc.

You then email this data to OFT on a form and they email you back the maps specific for your cars ECU

You then save these on your C Drive and use the Openflash Manager to copy them from your drive to the tablet

It's straightforward and they can do it for you remotely if you get stuck.

When new maps are available they will email them to you

You seem knowledgeable about Open Flash, do you know who does the performance programming for them? Open Flash states they only provide the diagnostic tools and tablet. I see Vishnu Performance mentioned on the legal information page of the Open Flash website. Do you know who Vishnu Performance is and where they are located? Do they have a tuning history with BMW?

It's two guys called Shiv and Anthony based I think in San Francisco

Been tuning cars for years and done a lot of work initially on the 335i

They own an M5 Comp Pack and have developed the tune on that as well as other cars.

I am happy with the map and the service I have received, especially as I bought the tablet secondhand and have not given any money to OFT.

Good guys

That's what I'm running and am very happy with it.
I'm going to try the full torque tune just for fun, now that I have a sticky tire on it.

I have two maps stage 1 and stage 1 with burble, did you have to ask for a full torque map?
