Listing Price Help: 2013 Alpine White BMW M5
Hello, All
I recently have come the decision that I may be getting rid of my M5 due to some projects around the house. I have had the car for a couple years and I am planning on listing the vehicle once the nice weather hits in upstate NY this year. I'm just looking to see what everyone's thoughts are on what the car would go for at these specs. Alpine white 6 speed Manual 43K Miles Black Leather Dark wood-grain trim Driver Assistance Package HUD display Heated and Cooled seats Lane Departure Warning Brakes were changed last season MSR intakes IND exterior trim in glossy black ( Front grille, side markers, rear badge) 343 Wheels powder coated Gloss Black Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating applied clean title Car is Garage kept During the winter and I recently had all the leather reconditioned last summer. I had some numbers floating in my head on what I would like, but I do understand that with the new F90's out now the market seemed to take a little more of a hit. I personally think the combo of AW, Black Leather and 6 speed is rare find and would hope that would help me in my favor. Any opinions on the car would be greatly appreciated. If you would also be interested I wouldn't be opposed to possible offering the car up for sale sooner before spring hits. |

Nice car! Tasteful mods. For a frame of reference, I paid $42K for my fully loaded 2013 (DCT) with RPI GTM and a few other cosmetic mods like yours with just 27.5K miles in November (North Carolina). Given the current market, I think you will be looking at high 30s unless you find someone desperate for the 6MT. GLWS!

Sweet ride! I got my car for mid 30's with ~50k miles but a DCT. But it also had stage two tune and some other mods on it. Most likely I would say high 30's. Best of luck!

I think your in the low $40s to be honest... people don't realize how difficult it is to find a 6MT in this car. Took me forever to find mine and had to go out of state to get the deal done.
I'd list it above $40K and be sure to put 6MT in the title somehow, because the "true enthusiasts" will most definitely open up the listing ***side note: If you love manual cars, your not going to find an equivalent in your next car search. Take a long thought about actually selling it |

Manuals are hard to find if not impossible. I don't see one for sale nationwide. There are people looking for a manual. I'd list at $43K and may take a little but I get you'd get the price as these are rare birds.
I'm keeping my manual for a while longer. Had her 4+ years now and not selling (maybe never selling). Last manual M5 ever to be made. |

Having recently been in a search for a car like yours (6MT, 2013-2014, exec. package, etc.) I would put your asking price around $42-43k. Don't take less than $40k unless you've had it for sale for 2 months or more.
I agree with others above. The 6MT cars are hard to find period, let alone finding one with colors/options you want. They only brought 560 6MT cars to North America. That's only 7% of all F10 M5's! You have a clean example with tasteful mods and maintenance upkeep done. For DCT cars, it's a buyers market. I can't believe how cheap you can get one. For 6MT buyers, it's a sellers market! Good luck with the sale... that is if you still want to sell it now ;-) |

Hold out for a buyer that wants a manual. They're out there and they will pay a premium for a manual as they're rare on this car. I'm in the market for an M5 myself, but despite being a #savethemanuals guy, I need a DCT in my next car as it will be my commuter. All else being equal, if your car is well kept and clean, expect mid 30's. If it's truly enthusiast grade condition, high 30's...at least, that's what I'd be willing to pay. Just my two cents and good luck to you.
