Uk F10 M5 Jb4 Tips And Tricks
Hi all,
Any tips, ticks and advise welcome re the JB4!!?? I have installed a JB4 and ran in on an n54 before but now I have moved up to an M5 :-) I am in the UK and can easily get 98+ ron fuel. My questions are (thanks in advance). 1. Can I run map 2 on the JB4 on a stock car, with stock down-pipes? Lots of tuners in the UK replace the down-pipes (cats) with straight through pipes. 2. What will the stock clutches takes? Will they take map 2 at 22psi? If not what is the optimal psi for stock clutches? 3. How do I programme a different psi? I have the data cable. 4. If I am running 22psi will the car still look after it's self? What should I monitor if anything? 5. What map is the valet map?? I am interested in this for the wife :-) 6. Any benefits of removing the down-pipes/cats? Just faster spool up? Thanks in advance. All the best! |

run map 1 with stock DP 2. What will the stock clutches takes? Will they take map 2 at 22psi? If not what is the optimal psi for stock clutches? Stock clutch is fine 3. You dont need to monitor anything, the Jb4 will do it for you Dont run map 2 on stock pipes 6. Any benefits of removing the down-pipes/cats? Just faster spool up? faster spool, you can hold boost for longer without overworking the turbos, better sound
