Alarm Audible confirmation

My car is almost 4 years old and this issue could come with age, but I don't think it is worth a trip to the dealer. When I lock or unlock my doors there is no longer an acoustic confirmation once done. I checked and unchecked the option in the menu, but still no audible confirmation. I hope someone on our board has an easy fix. Thanks in advance for any help.

Alarm

I had the same thing happen to me on my 2014. My radar detector suction cups lost grip and fell setting my alarm off from the motion. After that I noticed I lost the audible sound like you also for a week or so. My question is did your alarm happen to go off before you lost your locking and unlocking audible confirmation? After a couple weeks without the sound I just used the key fob to trigger the alarm to see if it would have any effect on the acoustic confirmation and sure enough it did, it had returned and now every time I lock or unlock the sound is present. So try setting your alarm off and see if it remedies it. Hope this works for you!

Actually that is exactly what happened to me. My radar is mounted right next to the rear view mirror and it fell because of the heat here South Florida. Once it fell the alarm went off and I lost the audible confirmation of the doors being locked or unlocked. Hopefully my acoustic confirmation comes back. Thanks.

Where at in South Florida? Set your alarm off with key fob and see if that fixes it.
