Sean- let’s hear what yours sound like since you are running the exact same settings as dsmclark
Should be doing that and posting up in the next few hours... Stay Tuned

Then a 93 tune on Friday and I'll post up 91 Octane VS. 93 Octane comparison.

I have magnaflow on my car, and burbles are more like popcorn in the microwave. In my opinion, it all depends which exhaust is installed on your car.

Nice! That is exactly how we intended it to sound. No loud bangs and pops. Just nice muffled burbles similar to what you get in Italian exotics

its stock exhaust but it was opened up and made straight through. and I got some M style tips (which stick out a touch).

I like it as I have kept the valves so on the motorway/freeway its pretty quiet inside the cabin. Also round town (although people have commented its pretty loud even when in quiet mode). I also have a remote to fully open or have oem opening the valves at whim.

My next step with the exhaust is to replace the resonators with a magnaflow 3" x pipe and then gut the pre cats

Hmm... If you have pictures please add this to the DIY section, maybe? Also, Link for tips? I like those a lot!

Sounds nice and clean.

A welder in the UK did it for me. can't really go into too much detail as its his business and he does it for loads of different makes. can be slightly raspy though which I think is because of the centre resonators.

I had to mod my tips to fit which was a pain but you can get some that just slip on. Think there was a post about some the other day

If you have the original V1.1 you probably have the map without burbles. I have 5 Files currently on my OpenFlash tablet.

1) V1.0 - 91 Octane
2) V1.1 - 91 Octane
3) V1.1 - 93 Octane
4) V1.1 - 91 Octane + Burble
5) V1.1 - 93 Octane +Burble

I have a case of Lucas Oil 15. Oz Octane booster coming in from Amazon today. I will put in 1 bottle of 15.Oz Octane booster with a full tank of gas and try out the 93 Octane map. It was only $7 a Bottle, If I feel a difference and I can tell the car is happier I will keep running it.

I always ran Torco in my past builds. We only have 93 by me and I wanted some insurance on bad fuel and heat. I used to make on my Cobras 700+ and always splashed a bottle on each fill up. Wasn't bad but knowing I had some protection was worth it. I used to buy the Torco by the case, eBay was the cheapest years ago.

I’ve been a big fan of Lucas Oil octane booster. It’s the only booster I’ve tested that actually works well. At around $8/15oz bottle (one per tank it’s quite cost effective and a real good option for 91oct folks (like us) in CA, NV and AZ

It was $7 per bottle for a case of 12 shipped from Amazon Prime. 2 day shipping... I'm sure looking forward to that 93 Octane map

We went on a group drive yesterday

And... cars that did not win against a Stock M5 with openflash tune

2018 M3 competition jb4, no cats, E85
2012 T-rex
2014 Tanom

The shocking one to my friend and I was the 2014 competition package ESS tuned M5, no cats, charcoal delete, k&N filters

I honestly wasnt sure who would win. The shocking part wasnt only that my car won it's by how fast the boost came on and the faster the speeds the car just kept pulling further and further away. There was a huge gap between us.

He is installing methanol this week so we'll run again. I want a video showing Stock M5 OF tune VS. Comp pack Ess M5, no cats and meth
