For Sale Carbon Ceramic OEM Brakes
Selling my carbon ceramics. Have very low mileage on them and have ZERO knicks or scratches on them. Came off my F06 M6. |

Posting pics will help your sale. How many miles on the brakes? Post the mic'd thickness of the carbon discs. Have they ever been tracked?

I mean if you are planning to sell you want a pretty high price. I don't plan on low-balling but if you are willing to negotiate I will take it into consideration. I'm not one of those BS buyers.

After multiple attempts of trying to contact this guy, I gave up as he never responded. Also note that he will not accept Paypal as a form of payment. He wants to receive cash deposits in his Wells Fargo account. I used Chase Quickpay to send his girlfriend the money since i wasn't comfortable depositing cash into a strangers account. Tons of flags with this guy. Very unprofessional. He should be banned from selling anything on the forums. Last edited by Eurohorses; 06-15-2017 at 02:49 PM.. |

Well pics can be hard if they are still installed but yea, direct deposits are hard to do unless you are doing the deal in person. I have seen the same brakes go for about $6,000 for 8k they would have to be near perfect or with basically no miles on them.

He doesn't want to use PayPal because of the ease of reversing a transaction if the goods are faulty or not as advertised. You also have some type of legal representation through PayPal if you need to file a claim.
All I know is I see a picture with curbed ADV1's and paint swirls in the fender. If he's not willing to take care of an M5 and $5,000+ wheels? I'm guessing he's not willing to be the type of person to offer all the details needed to ensure a confident sale when talking about 6-8k brakes. |
