BMW 740i making clicking and spring noises when braking please help

I know this is the forum for 5 series vehicles, I just want to get everybody's opinion. Thanks

Hello everyone I am new to Bimmerpost and need your help and input on an issue with my car. I just purchased a new 2020 740i and have been hearing a weird clicking/spring noise whenever I put the car in reverse at slow speed and then brake, it also happens when I drive at slow speeds and tap the brakes. It's really annoying, embarrassing and frustrating. I just want my car to sound normal and not have this issue anymore. If anybody knows what I am experiencing I would greatly appreciate your help as this is driving me crazy! Please give me your input

I have attached a video below of what I am experiencing.

It's a 2020? Take it to the dealer. That's why you have a warranty.

Hi thanks for your reply. I took it to BMW of San Diego 3 times already and they cannot figure out what the problem is. They replaced the brakepads for me and put another slot on my rotors but still the same!!!

Take it too a different dealer. It's probably not brake related. More likely a control arm bushing, lose suspension bolt, potentially from an alignment or something. You have a warranty, use it.

I think puma is escalating the warranty claim to a higher authority via your dealer to look into the case more technically.

Wouldn't it just be better to Lemon the car if they can't resolve the issue? I don't want my $ back I want a normal operating 2020 740i.

If they can't rectify the clicking then that's what you should be aiming for, but you'll have to insist on it stating 'goods not of merchantable quality'.
