f10 m5 weakest link?

I have a 2012 f10 m5 and only has 15000miles on it. But they say prepare the umbrella before it rains. I am wondering what's the weakest link that would possibly break the most?

I have heard the timing chain needs earlier replacement, also rod bearings? how about the con rods and piston itself?

I would do bearings , mr. vanos drop in rods and F90 pistons then enjoy years of blissful ownership.

Are the f90 pistons direct bolt on for the f10? Or adjustments are needed?

Direct bolt on and have the added benefit of a protective lower skirt. The Mr. Vanos rods are bolt on and shouldn't require any balancing work esp on such a fresh engine.

You could email Mr Vanos. mail@mrvanos.com. They might be able to put you in touch with a stateside reseller or buy direct from them.
